​Please read the instructions below to register online for the 36th Eastern Regional Conference of the Japan Association for International Health (JAIH).

Registration Fee

  • ​General and graduate students (members/non-members):  1,000 yen

  • Undergraduate students and overseas participants (members/non-members):  Free

* Registration via Peatix is required for all attendees, even if there is no participation fee. Please click on the "Registration" button below.

Use automatic website translation if needed.

Conference format

  • The conference will be held online (Zoom).

  • The main language is Japanese except for the Excellent Poster Award session.

  • After registering on Peatix, you will receive the login information.

Poster registration

​​The Annual Meeting Committee of the JAIH 36th Eastern Regional Conference encourages you to submit an abstract for an international health-themed poster. A wide range of experts and students who are involved in global health are welcome to submit reports of their research and field activities.

Poster registration:
February 7, 2022 (0:00 a.m. JST) – February 28, 2022 (0:00 a.m. JST)

* There are no specific eligibility requirements for abstract submission. Applicants must be able to present in either Japanese or English.

* The Excellent Poster Award will be selected from among the posters received in advance, following a rigorous screening process, and the winner of the Excellent Poster Award will be asked to give an oral presentation.

Notes for the Google Forms site

  • ​Maximum word limit for title: 30 words.

  • Enter the primary affiliation and name of the first author (insert a space between institution and department names, and between author’s first and last names).

  • Information for co-authors should be entered in the same way as for the first author. If you are a single author (i.e., no co-authors), please leave this field blank.

  • Select "Yes" if you have a conflict of interest (COI) to disclose regarding the content of your poster.

  • Please register the name and affiliation of the author who is available to present the poster (if it is selected for the Excellent Poster Award). If the first author will not present, please select a presenter from the listed co-authors. Note that the presenter must be the first author or a co-author. Make sure to provide an e-mail address so that you can be contacted.

  • If you would like to correct a mistake or make changes after completing registration, please register again. The latest completed registration will be treated as the valid one.

* After completing the poster registration, please create a poster using the template and submit it via e-mail by April 15, 2022.
